The Orange Spot was a cafe rebrand project.
Tasked with redesigning the current cafe at the Chester Beatty Museum in Dublin.
I took inspiration from their oriental displays and used Koi fish in my branding as well as orange which means prosperity and luck in Chinese and Japanese Culture. Orange in a more Western and psychological sense is a creative and stimulating colour that draws attention. The aim of the café, was to create a space that encouraged young adults to work and learn in the café and museum. The café is targeted at a younger audience in order to bring them into these spaces.
